Job Description


Specific responsibilities to assist in ensuring the legality, quality and safety of products purchased and supplied by the Conviviality Group. Additionally to co-ordinate, provide support and cover administrative duties for the Technical Team.

Tasks and accountabilities

  • Label legalities sign off on all labels within the group
  • Manage QC issues and complaints investigations to conclusion with relevant technologist and supplier
  • Responsible for complete artwork process for all retailer own label products and JS Co-pack project
  • Completing online specifications for JS Co-pack products
  • Liaising with warehouses and Stock Control on QC matters, authorising the isolation and destruction of faulty stock
  • Main contact for Sedex - liaising between suppliers and customers regarding risk ratings and audits
  • Manage and update Technical Database (BRC certs etc), Code of Practices and supplier on-boarding from a Technical perspective
  • Manage Organic Importer Licence, including annual audits for the Group.
  • Organise monthly team meetings and record minutes
  • Samples co-ordination for complaints tasting, bulk spec set up and Greencroft positive release tasting
  • FSA/WSB contact as and when required
  • To attend and assist BRC warehouse audits for Group, when technical assistance/follow-up required
Role involves flexible working hours and travel in the UK and/or abroad when required.
