WSTA wins European award for Annual Conference 2017

The WSTA’s submission beat five other finalists in the ‘Best Conference (less than 225 delegates)’ category, with the judges remarking that they were impressed by the excellent initiatives, like the Brexit workshop, on display at the Conference, and the structure of the day as a whole.

The WSTA Annual Conference brings together industry leaders from across the alcohol sector - including retailers, logisitcs companies, bottlers and large producers, small independent distillers, English Vineyards and brand owners.


Delegate profile for 2017

The conference is growing in size and number of attendees year-on-year. Last year, we saw our biggest turnout on the day, and interest in the the pre-conference workshop was high and the session sold out very early on in the year.

In 2017, our delegates hailed from over 130 different companies. Over 70% of attendees were either Senior Management or above, but we also saw our more buyers as well as marketing and communication representatives than in previous year.
