Since the forced closure of the on trade in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many consumers have obviously turned to the off trade to fill the ‘gap’. Next week, in association with Nielsen UK, the WSTA will hold its first webinar looking specifically at the data and insights behind consumer buying since lockdown.
We will be joined by Neilson UK Senior Client Analyst, Polina Jones, to explore consumer habits in the off-trade during the on-trade’s closure, which categories and brands performed well (and not so well), and a look towards the future and how drinkers might interact with on trade premises now lockdown has been lifted. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of both the WSTA and Nielsen, as a Q&A session will follow an initial presentation.
