Job description

To represent and develop distribution of the full range of Louis Roederer champagnes and premium wines across all appropriate sectors within the area, currently approximately 60 active direct accounts, across independent retail, wholesale, brewery and hospitality.


To organise tastings, dinners and presentations, implement promotional activity, arrange producer time in market.



Maisons Marques et Domaines ( was established in 1986 by Champagne Louis Roederer, one of the last truly independent family-owned houses in Champagne, to manage the sales, marketing and distribution of its champagnes in the UK market. Over the course of the last three decades the company has grown, as Champagne Louis Roederer has acquired properties in California, Portugal, Provence and Bordeaux, while at the same time we have carefully selected like-minded, family-owned producers to join the portfolio.


MMD has established itself as one of the leading fine wine importers in the UK and is proud to represent some of the most renowned producers and iconic brands from the New and Old World with the binding philosophy throughout the portfolio one of family ownership, estate driven production and premium quality. MMD predominantly services the on-trade, wholesale and independent retail trade.

The area runs from the Essex coast in the south and encompasses East Anglia, Northern Home Counties, East Midlands (including Birmingham) to South Humberside in the north.

Centrally located on territory desirable.


Key Requirements

A candidate who can demonstrate the professionalism to represent a prestigious portfolio

Results-oriented with ability to manage A&P budgets, P&L

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and a passion for wine

Experience selling premium products to independent retail sector and through wholesalers to premium hospitality

Good wine knowledge with WSET Diploma preferred

Good time planning and organisational skills to efficiently manage a large territory

Proven negotiation experience and strong analytical competence

Excellent IT and administration skills
