Swiss Wine Tasting in London 2018

Monday 26 February 2018, 11:00am - 05:00pm

Once more the Swiss Wine Exporter’s Association is happy to invite wine professionals in London on Monday February 26th for their annual walk around tasting and master class at 67 Pall Mall (St James room).

Over 50 wines from 8 outstanding wineries from all Swiss wine regions will be on display and available for tasting. Winemakers will be present. From the classic Pinot Noir and Merlot to the unique indigenous wines such as Chasselas and Arvine.

The wineries and the winemakers present: Maître de Chais - Provins (Gianni Jiacopino), Domaine Jean René Germanier (Gilles Besse), Domaine des Muses (Robert Taramarcaz), Clos du Boux (Gregory Massy), Domaine A Villars (Philipert Frick), Domaine de Montmollin (Christelle Delamalmaison), Vinigma (Valentin Schiess), Gialdi & Brivio Vini (Alfred de Martin & Guido Brivio).

There is still some space for the Merlot Masterclass 4-5 PM

Merlot is the third most planted red grape (9%) in Switzerland and in one region in particular: Ticino, located South of the Alps north of Milano. This class provides an opportunity to discover Ticino's complex terroirs through some of its best cuvées, emerging estates and affirmed, iconic producers.
