WSET Careers Series

So you want to be a sommelier

 

WSET School London are pleased to present a series of careers-focused evening events.  These represent a great opportunity to better understand different roles in the wines and spirits industry, and what key skills you will need to succeed.

For our "So you want to be a Sommelier" event our speakers include top London sommeliers:

- Guy Palmer-Brown, Head Sommelier - Clove Club

In The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017 awards Clove Club was awarded 26th place, and was Britain's highest ranked restaurant.

- Other speakers to be confirmed shortly.

 

The evening will consist of:

Informative panel discussion including -

- how to become a sommelier

- the role of a sommelier

- key responsibilities

- advice for managing a successful wine list (and restaurant)

- challenges and opportunities the role represents

- Question and answer session

- Tasting of wines to complement the evening
