Job Description

Purpose

To manage the quality of all relative products purchased by the Conviviality Group in order to limit the quality-related issues associated with buying Wines, Spirits & Beers. All elements of the Supply Chain are to be assessed from production, bottling, transportation and storage. By ensuring excellent due diligence procedures, the Conviviality Group will inspire confidence in both customers and suppliers, proving we strive for technical excellence and can be trusted as a preferred partner. The roles will be split by country and region for wine. One role will include responsibility for Beers & Spirits.

Tasks and accountabilities

  • Incident management
  • Proactive process implementation
  • Audit Key Producers against Conviviality Code of practise
  • Specification Approval. To manage and deliver own label specifications in all assigned countries
  • To build and manage relationships with key customers and suppliers
  • Provide advice on legal technical requirements to suppliers and colleagues
  • To assist with general QA issues , inc consumer complaints
  • Incident management, audits, technical guidance for winemakers on production and bottling method
  • In-country support to sales teams and liaison with key retailer technical managers
  • In-Country support to Buyers with: new supplier audits, blends, new vintage approval

      Role involves flexible working hours and travel in the UK and/or abroad when required.

        Qualifications

        • BRC/HACCP/TFMS
        • Degree standard Individual
        • Ideally, WSET Diploma Level
        • Food Technology qualification preferable
        • Excellent communicator
        • Calm and supportive planning skills
        • A good team player
        • Time management skills
        • MS Office
        Knowledge
        • BRC/HACCP/OTHER audits
        • Legal requirements/legislation
