Date:     Tuesday 12 September 2017

Venue:  The Royal Institution of Great Britain, 21 Albemarle St, London, W1S 4BS

This year, the WSTA Annual Conference will host a special pre-conference Brexit Breakout workshop, where attendees can spend time chatting with three unique speakers about some very important Brexit issues. Attendees can spend time hearing from, and talking with, individuals representing or advising business or sectors affected by Brexit, in an informal workshop-style setting. Topics will be around issues with logistics and movement of goods, hard borders, free movement of people and a host of other Brexit conundrums.

The session will start with a short introduction before attendees split into 3 pre-assigned groups. Each of the three pairs of external speakers will be joined by a WSTA team member to present on a specific Brexit- related topic. The expert speakers will spend approximately 25mins with each group, not only to present but also to facilitate discussion and to answer questions.

This is a unique opportunity to discuss key issues alongside fellow peers in an informal environment, whereby speakers are not standing behind a lectern talking at you but instead, they join you at the table ready to share their knowledge, and dissect and debate these issues.

Tickets include a full buffet lunch, made by the award-winning inhouse catering team at the Royal Institution of Great Britain.
