Simon joined the WSTA in September 2013 and brings experience of the EU having worked in Brussels for over 10 years. With responsibility for wine policy, he is also involved with a number of Committees including the Wine Importers Panel and Distance Selling Panel.


Miles has overall responsibility for the organisational strategy and public affairs and public relations work of the WSTA. Further responsibilities include commercial services, finance, personnel and membership recruitment.


Carlo is responsible for managing the WSTA’s overall policy program. Additionally, he leads on the WSTA’s social responsibility work through the Responsibility Deal and on projects to tackle underage drinking including the Retail of Alcohol Standards Group, Community Alcohol Partnerships and Challenge 25. He has responsibility for advising members on licensing obligations.
