The IWSR is the leading source of analysis on the alcoholic beverage market. The IWSR's database, essential to the industry, quantifies the global market of wine, spirits, beer and RTDs by volume and value, and provides insight into short- and long-term trends. Our data is used by all of the largest multinational wine and spirits companies, as well as many more local companies.
The IWSR's unique methodology allows us to get closer to what is actually consumed and better understand how markets work. The IWSR conducts face-to-face interviews with 1,500 companies in 115 countries each year, with further input from 350 companies. The IWSR tracks overall consumption and trends at brand, quality and category level.
The Institute of Masters of Wine is a professional body with an unsurpassed international reputation. Our Members, the Masters of Wine (MWs), hold the most respected title in the world of wine. MWs have proved their understanding of all aspects of wine by passing the Master of Wine (MW) Examination, recognised worldwide for its rigour and high standards. MWs are required to sign the Code of Conduct before they are entitled to the initials MW. The Code of Conduct requires MWs to act with honesty and integrity, and use every opportunity to share their understanding of wine with others.
Established for over 25 years, we are a family-run wine distribution company supplying high quality wines at affordable prices to an increasingly discerning and knowledgeable market.
We’ve earned an excellent reputation for our successful and varied wine portfolio and sell around 6 million cases each year globally.
We know that high quality and consistency at an affordable price is important to our customers so we carefully select each of our wines. Our wines are sourced from the major growing regions – South Africa, France, Italy, Chile, California, and Australia, where we have built strong, long-lasting relationships with our producers.
The International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), now in its 44th year, is the premier competition of its kind in the world. It aims to promote the quality and excellence of the world’s best wines, spirits and liqueurs.
The IWSC receives entries from nearly 90 countries worldwide. No matter where the entry originates, whether it is youthful or aged, it is judged according to its class and treated with respect and consideration.
The Competition has the support of many of the world’s top wine and spirit producers, setting the international benchmark for quality. The unique combination of detailed technical analysis and specialist judging panels means that gaining an IWSC ‘Competition Award’ is an exceptional achievement.
The Competition culminates at the annual awards banquet held at the Guildhall in London. Find out more at iwsc.net.
