Fifty years after the last production left Camden Lock in 1964, this past industrial glory was unearthed and reinvigorated in 2014 by HALF HITCH Gin with key botanicals of Black Tea & Bergamot. Produced with a combination of traditional copper pot still, modern vacuum distillation and tinctures.

We currently manage over 24 hectares (60 acres) of vines across two well-situated sites.
Our custom-built, eco-friendly winery was completed in 2010 with our first release being in August 2013. Our multi-award winning wines are produced by our talented wine making team led by Emma Rice and Jacob Leadley, both of whom trained at Plumpton College.
Hayman Distillers , the English gin distiller , have been making the finest handcrafted gins since 1863 when Christopher Hayman’s Great Grandfather, James Burrough, purchased a gin rectifying company. Today, although the original company was sold, the Hayman family retained part of the business and continue to distil gin. The company is run by the 5th generation - James and Miranda Hayman supported by their father Christopher, who has over 40 years of gin expertise.
Hush Heath is a privately owned and sustainably run 400 acre estate in Kent, The Garden of England. In 2002 our team planted the first vineyard on Hush Heath Estate with the classic Champagne grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, for the production of top quality English Sparkling Wine. Our vision was to produce a word class, Pinot Noir dominated wine using the traditional method which we called Balfour Brut Rose. Balfour Brut Rose is the cuvee on which we have built the strong reputation for quality, elegance, and freshness that our wines are now recognised for. It has been served on British Airways First Class and The Orient Express trains in England. From the 2010 harvest Hush Heath Estate started producing still wines from the classic Champagne grape varieties, a white, rose and red, as well as cider produced in the traditional Champagne method under the Jake’s Orchard label. In 2014 we introduced Jake’s Kentish Cider, a craft product intended for pubs and casual dining, and Balfour 1503, a non vintage range of traditional method sparkling wine with a focus on multiple retail and national on trade.
@haymansgin Happy Birthday Christopher. Hope you have a special day from the WSTA!
