The WSTA's technical committee reviews the Association’s contingency plan, and contributes to submissions on technical matters to the UK Government, the European Commission and other bodies. It is involved with EU labelling rules including ‘allergens’, and proposals to include a requirement for full ‘ingredient listing’ for alcoholic beverages. It is also looking at issues relating to the Reform of the Wine Regime; Bulk Shipment; Labelling and Certification Standards.
