Distance selling

The Panel:

The Distance Selling Panel was created in 1992 and was then called the Mail Order Committee. The name was changed in 2006 to Distance Selling Panel to take account the rise of online commerce and its membership was widened. Its two main functions were to keep its members up to date on issues affecting the sector and to maintain the Wine by Mail Code of Practice.

The Distance Selling Code of Practice
:

The members of the Panel have the possibility become signatories to this Code of Practice which encourages best practice. Compliance with the Code of Practice entitles them to display the Code's logo which offers a "satisfaction or your money back" guarantee.
